For teens, their faith is a whole different story! They are in a state of self-discovery and how they relate to the world around them. Their faith waivers depending on their immediate peers and stimuli. I believe if the prayers center around a few themes, a solid foundation of the Word if laid.
- A fresh revelation of God and His Holiness.
- A softened heart toward the Lord.
- To really “get” Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross (I mean, really get it).
- To break the yoke of rebellion.
- To send Christian mentors and friends to our kids.
In the prayers, I grouped scriptures together around the above themes (and more). I left blank spots (_____) where you can put your teens name to make it more personal.
